PREFACE “FAITH FOR MONEY” SERIES (on www.thepastorsite.com)

Christians and Money, in this case investigating WORD OF FAITH movement plus CHARISMATIC TERM “PROSPERITY” ( a lengthy in depth discussion) 3-4 in the series (each will be listed beneath the others)

While we honor the fathers and mothers in the natural, also Christian spiritual, Bible teaching former now national and world wide moves, we can’t help but take time out to evaluate the fruit. However, nobody who began this teaching prior Christian TV and worldwide media, could have foreseen what we know now.

It (USA Christian Global Media) Scandal about money, women and media.. all begin in Fort Mill, SC, where this person now resides. Irony.

Taveau’s LONG time on front lines of the USA Christian doctrines began as all at age 24, after the Jesus People movement and the rise of the (silent, servant leader, prior to all of this media) ‘charismatic movement.” Taveau had been raised a South Baptist, so this new to her, but she, as Billy Graham type of sr pastor’s daughter, knew deep theology, authority  and being led by “inward witness of the Holy Spirit ” in close personal walk with the Lord.

And she wants so honor to all of the preachers in that day, including ones in her own office pastor sweet family. This includes, both maternal and paternal Bible teaching witnessing grandmothers, her and her husband, and her mother and father.

And all of many since, who have stood in the gap, declared God’s Word and moved in the gifts and in worship ministry and in a lot local also media.

This is long; I will share deeply,and let YOU decide, I am VERY PRO (a signficant qualifying part of ) of the beginning /more organic WORD OF FAITH TEACHING (Bible based) but NOT SO  PRO the excess or the damning of them by the current media naive. I will list apologetics  for  for the atypical movement, understanding for I respect the founders non racist, non accusing, non gossiping, non faulting non divine (occult try to mind read) their friendliness and joy ,Hence  I will direct but not accuse, word curse or revile any name in any word of faith.

For actually word of faith core teaching is  not about “hard money” it is about getting out of  “hard times” also how to handle it with smile on your face, and a FEAR FREE, OPTIMISTIC, CHEERY, UPBEAT (I repeat: free free)big optimistic quality of life (Note; that this is WITHOUT THE MENTION OF GIVING MONEY.)

I generally “pick out what is hay and throw out the stubble” ( a Kenneth Hagin, sr. phrase).

And I well understand the focused group. I also identify with them regarding honoring God’s Word,taking care to live holy and to to forgive  (Note : That is not about income or MONEY)

I relate to them about being ” led of the spirit, and God’s Word” about how to survive deep repeated attack and to not give up, to miracle faith that heals, the delivers and that  summarily provides.

For I have needed all of that  and far more in my long life with them—meaning their teaching—and in my views of the Holy Spirit.

Speaking of the top founders, leaders, and elders, in my experience, I felt safe and not violated as a female leader—not violated or accused for showing up as a Caucasian female, usually alone. Kenneth Hagin, Kenneth Copeland, and the later Oral Roberts were not one bit biased or ornery misogynists (as too many self-styled “prophetic,” all-male bastions—the “WELP boys’ club” types of accusing, witch-watching, smug, joyless , gifted yet victim, many charismatics—sadly are).

Again, I want to honor this movement for its faith-filled and happy spirit. At the headquarters level there was no top-leader Phariseeism, no prying religious gatekeeping, no “watching” or occult scanning. Sadly, many at the lowest grassroots do that, but not those at the top.

Overall, I think highly of Kenneth Hagin and Kenneth Copeland—and also of Gloria Copeland. I do follow their recent scandals, as I have also accused the many “Christian accusing paparazzi” (Demas-style, fundraising gossip media) video makers.

Word of Faith is not the archaic, medieval-esque WELP movement, unless perhaps one or two deep in the grassroots have aligned with the wrong crowd. I respect Word of Faith for their EORR—Equal Opportunity Real Respect—for all of us: all races, nations, styles, creeds, and human persons. (Note… that THAT is not about giving money.)

I note that the late Oral Roberts and the now Kenneth Copeland (not sure about Kenneth Hagin) each had Native American heritage. Perhaps that is why they were—and still are—so respectful of all races, kinds of persons, income levels, and nations.

I respect their principle of being “led by the Bible and the inward witness of the Holy Spirit” without control (meaning at the top level only). I appreciate their joy, youthful vigor, forgiveness, ministry healing, and Bible faith. It is an overall fully respectful and non-racial, non–gender-biased movement. I owe them a lot, yet I now regard them as an online resource from time to time.

(Christian mature leader; he was hardscrabble poor but well loved, a Baptist, later turn pentecostal. His single parent mother had.a nervous breakdown after the father left her with 4 children before services to help. Kenneth Hagin had a deadly heart condition as teenager, and found healing in the word of God by himself in his bed, after being tutored by the Holy Spirit..So don’t expect theological sophistication, term and seminary graduate degrees. He  was (like me) Holy Spirit home schooled “by faith and patience he inherited the promises” Bible ….alsoI recommend trying out an old Youtube of Kenneth Hagin Sr. as the true brand (model) of country sounding, but very wise “authentic first generation of of Word of Faith leadership”—I include his living son now, but nothing compares to the Organic Kenneth Hagin, sr himself (but it will require getting used to his Oklahoma homespun tones, venacular—but after that, I have many doubts about the later generations, for not all are as true as he. I note that many in the Fort Worth faith group remain somewhat true, though with a cloud of materialism; yet I can still receive from them at times.

I want to honor both Tulsa (Hagin) and Fort Worth (Copeland), for I might not be around today—happy, healthy, and full of joy—had God not allowed me to discover their many good teachings and prayer foundations. I will list my experiences of being blessed by them in Video 3–4.

My sister in Tulsa shared that Rhema Bible Training Center just celebrated its 40th anniversary this past weekend. I send a wise, big HURRAY and congratulations!
